My home is always being redecorated, my daughter has more clothes than she can physically wear and I’m obsessed with home decor magazines. My passion is party styling and baking where I get to create pure loveliness! I've been lucky enough to turn this into a business. We hire out goods to the DIY party hostess or let us handle all the styling, flowers and sweet treats for you. And get all the finishing touches from our Etsy shop.

Hellooooo!!! I know it’s been a while but I hope you’re all keeping well in these crazy times!

Since I last posted we’ve had two foster placements which both went really well! We don’t have any kids with us at the moment but we could get a call at anytime.

In the meantime I’ve been painting pots! I missed the creativity of cakes so I made my way through a million other crafts before landing on this one😆. I’ve started a little insta account called . I’d love you to follow me there if it’s something that floats your boat. I know a lot of people (including me) have become crazy plant parents during iso! 🌱

I’m having a giveaway this evening so don’t wait until tomorrow 😝

Thank you all so much for the lovely messages in response to my post last night. You made me cry a little. 😢
You lot are the only reason I was able to run successfully for so long. Thank you for all your support, all your orders (some people have ordered up to ten cakes from me ), all your comments and likes and shares and social media love. 🥰
For now I’ll be over on - there’s nothing there yet and I’m not sure what I’ll be sharing but please do keep in touch 😆 Xx

I think this is a pretty good cake to use along side this post as I share some news with you all...
My family and I have made the decision to close Loryn Loves for the foreseeable future 😕. Those of you that work in this industry will appreciate just how crazy can be.
As we close this door we will be opening a new one - we’re in the process of becoming foster carers and couldn’t be more excited!
I hope to still be social on Insta, maybe a bit of a personal account sharing our foster journey, I’m not sure yet 🤷🏻‍♀️
As sad as I am to not be caking anymore, I do well and truly believe that ‘the best is yet to be...’

Unfortunately a customer had to cancel a big cake this morning 😞 I would like to be able to recover some of the costs for her by onselling her cake.

The cake was going to be four layers (not tiers) which I am about to decorate individually.

So I will have four 7inch cakes (2inches high) which will serve at least 8 chunky slices.

They will be vanilla cake with cookies and cream buttercream, simply decorated.

Ready to pick up from Featherbrook in an hour or so. Please comment sold below or wait to see piccies 🙂
