2025 brought many changes, and it wasn’t always easy to keep up with my baking, but I’m hopeful I’ll make time for what I love. Life has its challenges, but true happiness comes from doing what brings you joy. There’s something special about creating with your hands and sharing moments that become beautiful memories.

Gemista is a beloved traditional Greek dish made with stuffed capsicums and tomatoes. It’s a popular, comforting meal that’s perfect to enjoy with friends and family.

The beauty of Gemista is that it tastes even better the next day, as all the flavours come together beautifully.

I always feel nostalgic when I make this dish, remembering the days I’d come home from school to find it baking in the oven — the aroma filling the house. These are beautiful memories I will carry with me for life. 🥰

The Vasilopita is the Greek lucky new year’s cake that has a coin hidden in it and is cut at midnight. It is tradition for each family to have their own vasilopita and a piece is cut for each family member. If the coin is in your piece it is said the you will have good luck for the rest of the year.

A lovely tradition that not only fills the house with the most beautiful aroma but also brings back wonderful childhood memories .
