Ever wonder who’s behind all these flower cupcakes? Well, I’ll tell you a little about me 😊
My name is Celine 😃 the founder of Amoureux Cakery, and the girl behind all these beautiful cupcake designs. I hold a huge pride in being an Indonesian born in 2001. And since I was little, I’ve always been passionate about cooking and baking. Hence, during the lockdown in 2020, I started this journey in putting emphasis of gifting small decorative cupcakes for special occassion when people are unable to celebrate. And as usual, people gift flowers or cake to mark special days like birthdays. So I thought why choose one when you can give both?😛 Thus I came up with the idea of flower cakes to cheer people up in the midst of the covid chaos. I decided to open a cupcake shop because I want people to enjoy the beauty while eating flower cupcakes.
I’m a self-taught baker. I feel beyond happy when people support and love what I do. So, with the lovely feedbacks I receive, it continuously boosted my ambition to keep going.
Life has repeatedly taught me that hard work always pays off, especially when coupled with good intentions. I’ve always had a positive attitude in everything, which has gotten my Cakery where it is now. I appreciate the tremendous support from my customers and the words of encouragement that have pushed me this far. I’m always happy to see my customers happy, and I am posting this to say thank you, without your support, I wouldn’t have explored my passion and talent to create these beautiful memories in the form of cupcakes :)
However, everything that has a beginning always has an end. With the degree I’ve achieved from The University of Melbourne last August, I’ve decided to go back home for good next year. Unfortunately, I am closing the Cakery by the end of this month, and this month will be the last month I’m selling cupcakes.
Just to remind all my customers, it has been a tremendous pleasure serving you. To this end, therefore, we still only have this month to order your favorite cakes. I am endlessly grateful for believing and trusting me. I hope to visit melbourne again and open for a short time 😊❤️
