I honestly don’t even know where to begin… 🥹💛
A massive thank you to everyone who has taken the time to nominate me for Cookie Business of the Year, Rising Star AND Cookie Artist of the Year! 🥹✨ I had no idea nominations were open for these awards yet this year so to wake up over the weekend to an email from to say I’d been nominated for all three awards was a very emotional day indeed 🥹
To even have my name mentioned alongside so many incredibly talented cookie artists is something I never could have ever imagined when I first started baking.
I’ve come such a long way from making cookies just for my friends and family, nervously wondering if anyone would actually like my work, to finding the confidence to put my cookies out there and start selling to the public 🥹 and a massive part of that was becoming .designs BA, she lit a fire under me and i’ve been all go since 🥹🥰
There have been plenty of moments of self-doubt, plenty of “am I actually good enough?” and so much learning along the way. But with every new order, every new technique, every little bit of encouragement and every person who has supported me has helped me to grow. 🤍
One of the things I love most about this industry is the community ✨ I will always be a firm believer in community over competition. There is room for all of us to grow, celebrate each other, share knowledge, cheer each other on and lift one another up.
The cookie community is honestly something special, and I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of it. 🥹💕
