This 50s theme cake went out today. Bottom two tiers are dummy cakes, which makes my job way easier 🤣 top tier is chocolate mud cake with vanilla buttercream. Dancers and jukebox and are hand painted with cutters and stamps from The Sweet Cut. Topper designed and made by me, as well as the car on front of the bottom tier. All with some chocolate rainbow cupcakes so there's enough cake for everyone 😁

The criteria was blue, and a drip cake. I think I met it. Chocolate mud cake layered with vanilla buttercream. Some sprinkles to add a little wow factor, and finished with a hand made topper. I can't believe this girl is already 10 years old. Happy birthday sweet girl.

The last cake for the weekend is this half height chocolate mud cake with vanilla buttercream. I was told I could decorate however I wanted. And the recipient's favourite colour is red. With red being one of the hardest icing colours to make, I decided that red flowers would have to be enough. I spruced it up with some edible gold leaf for added wow. And just look at how gorgeous it turned out! And I'm told that the birthday girl absolutely loved it.
