Turns out if you avoid the Evolt machine long enough, it does not magically improve itself.

I finally stepped on it today after more than a year. Everything was elevated, which was rude but also accurate.

The good news: I now have a baseline.
The bad news: the machine had receipts.

Still, I’d rather have honest numbers than comforting assumptions. A friend suggested tracking everything weekly, and apparently my fitness journey is entering its Excel era.

Let’s see what six months, heavy lifting, protein, and questionably aggressive travel schedule can do by year-end. πŸ˜…
