How do you find they grow and fruit? Is the fruiting season later than normal?

We have two established Fuji Apple trees that provide us with amazing apples (except for last year! Hello possums 🤦🏽‍♀️). A quick visit this morning to mccourts_gardencentre and we came home with a plum, peach, nectarine and apricot!

Also planning to add a lemon, orange & mandarin, plus a couple of black passionfruit. We’d love to hear how your orchard or fruit trees go down here 🩷

Lots a beautiful bunches and potted arrangements available tomorrow/Sunday from 8am-12noon at the Zo and Dough Pop-up shop held in SAN PIERO COFFEE BAR on Commercial Street. Limited florals this time, be quick to grab a bunch or more.

Don’t forget, Zo and Dough will have their amazing breads & more, and coffee from San Piero too ✨🩷✨

Cold Stratification SUCCESS 🎉

Our first trial at cold stratification of an old school peach, known as the Blackboy Peach, a heritage red-fleshed fruit with a sweet and rich flavour. We will prep and start the process again for the other 20 seeds today.

I think cold stratification is my new favourite method !

If you drop by you’ll notice our property gateway is looking a little different. We’ve pulled out the old garden and replacing with new gums, leucadendrons and boronias.

It’s a bit messy at the moment, we aim to have the new gardens in by the weekend. If you notice a beautiful sweet spring scent in the air, you can liken it to our new boronia plants: Heaven Scent 😍
