It's hot cross bun season!
And Ursus is bringing the goods!
For our first year we're keeping it simple, with 3 absolute classics.
Fruit buns: the OG flavour sensation. Made with premium, plump Australian muscatel and sunmuscat raisins, seasoned with Gewurzhaus mixed spices.
Fruit-free buns: same dough and spices as the classic, but free of any fruity additions. A great option you want to add your own jam, spreads, or just aren't keen on raisins.
Choccy buns: the modern classic. We make the spiced dough with real dark chocolate which blends through during the rising process, but then we load it with even more choc chips before baking.
These buns can be frozen for up to 6 months in a zip lock bag and defrosted in the fridge. I recommend cutting them in half and toasting under a grill to get the perfect fluffy/toasted ratio. Serve with a quality salted butter and hot drink of your choice.

Buns are made fresh for your order, morning pick up in Cecil Hills available on Saturday and Sundays (5th, 6th, 12th, 13th) and from Good Friday until Easter Sunday. Please message or comment to start your order. Orders must be confirmed at least 48 hours before day of pick up and will be subject to availability. Buns are vegetarian friendly but may contain common food allergens, please ask if you have any questions!
