Three Moody Heifers have a sale on today for the cow 🐮 lovers
❤️🩹 It’s time to get out of my sadness era and find my MOODY again! 🐮❤️
I’m usually pretty good at pulling myself out of a funk, but lately life has delivered one hit after another. Just when I find my feet, something else knocks the wind out of me.
I’m gutted to be pulling out of this weekend’s event. My car is STILL not okay, and while I have a loan car, driving a couple of hours at 5am without a bull bar or tow bar isn’t something I’m comfortable doing.
I really needed this event, to move some stock, see familiar faces and do what I love. But here we are: another bloody hurdle.
I’ve also realised that sometimes you convince yourself you’re tough enough to brush off being hurt. You smile, carry on and say you’re okay, then weeks later realise how deeply it affected you.
That’s where I’ve been. My spark dimmed, and the things that once brought me joy started to feel heavy.
Three Moody Heifers has NEVER JUST been about selling things. It’s about community, connection, laughter, supporting Australian small businesses, lifting others up and creating something full of love, positivity and MOODY madness.
I’ve poured my heart into this business and this very beautiful community I'm writing this to, but somewhere along the way, I let someone else’s actions steal the joy from something I worked so hard to create.
But today, I’m making a decision.
I’m done letting that hurt take up space in something I love.
I want to fall back in love with creating, sharing, supporting other businesses and showing up as the loud, colourful, slightly chaotic woman behind Three Moody Heifers.
Because that’s who I am and I bloody miss her.
To everyone who’s stuck around while I’ve been quiet, thank you. ❤️ I’m sorry I let someone else’s actions steal so much of my joy, but I’m ready to find it again, and I’d love for you to come along for the ride.
