With a busy start to the year. We’re just finishing off another Dodge R5P7. It’s a really nice bit of gear, it will make 850+ Hp and will turn in the vicinity of 9300-9400 rpm. I’ve done a little video of the valve gear that’s in this engine to show the motor enthusiasts how nice it is.
A few stats on the motor - no adjuster on the rocker, these are shimmed for adjustment - the rocker bar has spring oiler jets in - valve spring installed height is set off coil bind and work back from there - Titanium valves, both with 7mm stems - 7/16, .185 wall pushrods - spray bar oiler for the flat tappet camshaft. 800+ lift.
