SALT BREAD

Did you know our salt bread is a tedious and time consuming roll of buttery goodness?

First, our dough is meticulously mixed and shaped into perfect, pillowy rounds to begin its rise. Next, expert bakers hand-sculpt each piece into an elegant teardrop shape for a second, crucial proofing stage. Then comes the magic: we delicately nestle a rich k**b of pure butter into the base before tightly rolling it up into a beautiful, crescent shape. These rolls proof until they are spectacularly large, wobbly, and ready for the intense heat of the oven. As they bake, that hidden pocket of butter melts completely, essentially deep-frying the base from the inside out to create an unbelievably crispy, golden crunch, while keeping the top incredibly soft, airy, and fluffy. Finally, we gather every last drop of that rich, bubbling excess butter and brush it right over the top, finishing it with a brilliant scatter of crunchy, flaky salt to bring it all together.
