This beauty was layers of strawberry cake and strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream, both made using dried strawberry powder.

This little beauty was for my youngest daughter’s first birthday. Bright flowers offset by the palest peach buttercream and gold accents.

Rainbows sure do make people happy, especially my daughter. Her fourth birthday was all about the rainbows (and the unicorns and the glitter and all things pink or purple).

It’s been a hot minute!! Wow. Sorry for the radio silence lately, it’s been a very full on few weeks. My husband flew to the other side of the country to start work. I had a baby. I packed up our whole life and moved it over to be with Dean in Perth, with a four week old and a 3.5 year old in tow. Two weeks in quarantine is almost over (last day today!).
