I’m Back! 🌼
After being away for too long I’m finally back to this project I love so much.
In 2022 I went to Australia with nothing more than a backpack and stayed for two years, working, traveling, and living experiences I truly treasure. It hasn’t been a year since I got back home and Aurora’s bay has taken a slightly different direction. I’ll be creating handmade flower arrangements you can use to decorate your cakes or your home. I know some of you still have my flowers and that makes me happy. 💜
There’s so much more to tell you about, but for now… let’s begin! ✨

Three years ago, I started as a way of expressing myself through baking, painting and writing, inspired by nature. It has been a beautiful journey of personal growth in so many ways.
In the meantime, I've been living in the tropics of Australia, and I keep falling in love with this beautiful place. Balancing hard work and exploring amazing places has made it an adventurous experience. I also find comfort in the routines I have established. Every weekend, I visit the local market, and last week, in celebration of Auroras Bay's anniversary, I decided to bake a purple carrot cake. I found all the ingredients in local shops, including the purple carrot from at Rusty's Market, and other ingredients and decorations from such as cinnamon, ginger, spelt flour, rose petals, chamomile flowers, and granola.
If you're interested in trying the recipe, it is from it worked beautifully. Hope you enjoy it!

Quero contar-vos a minha aventura!
Candidatei-me a um visto que se chama Work and Holiday Visa que me permite viajar e trabalhar na Austrália. Desde Outubro que por aqui estou. Este mês consegui arranjar trabalho numa lojinha de bolos e estou a aprender imenso!

Estou muito feliz com esta minha experiência e espero regressar com o coração cheio de histórias.
Já tenho saudades das minhas flores, e de criar os vossos bolinhos!

Um bolo de casamento muito algarvio! Flores de amendoeira, mini laranjas e folhas feitas à mão. 🌸🍊🌿 Os figos, amêndoas e alfarrobas são naturais. No menu: bolo de cenoura e noz recheado com curd de laranjas algarvias. 🧡
