October is here! (What?) And so is a new monthly bread special. Staying with the 'fragrant spring loaf' vibe to try and manifest some warmer, milder days, this time the bakers have incorporated some polenta porridge, fresh rosemary, and Mount Zero arbequina olive oil into the loaf.

If you ask me it tastes great toasted with even more olive oil!

Miche is a relatively new addition to our daily specials rotation but it's developed quite a fanbase. The high percentage of high extraction flour in its make-up gives it a character somewhere towards a wholewheat loaf for those searching for that earlier in the week, but the rye and malt in particular give this loaf a distinct (and delicious) flavour profile.
