This week we celebrate Women's Health Week and I want to pause to highlight something close to my heart. As a psychology student, l've learned that health is not just physical, it's also mental and emotional. This year's theme, Say Yes to You, is an invitation to prioritise yourself in ways big or small.
Saying yes might look like finally crossing one thing off your to-do list, washing your face first thing in the morning, or going for a run. No matter how small, it all counts, because it's you choosing you.
As women, we are built from strength and resilience.
Our mothers carried us and birthed us; that legacy of endurance and power is within us too. Don't overlook that truth: you are strength. And you deserve to say yes to yourself, not just this week, but always.
So let this Women's Health Week be your reminder: choose yourself, honour your wellbeing and know that you deserve it.
