Cakes have been such a large part of my life and heart for the past 14 years. I have been so lucky to both spread and receive joy through creating every kind you can imagine, for such a long time.
I'd like to share that I am turning off my oven and no longer taking orders. I am very excited for my next chapter personally and professionally. With a bittersweet smile I'd like to thank all of the wonderful people who have supported Sweet Cakes by Alana, allowing me to take this journey.
Thank you to my husband, Shaun for staying up late with me when I had a big order to finish and for eating lots of cake trim so I couldn't. Thank you to all my friends and family who gave Sweet Cakes a free plug to their friends and families so often. And thank you to everyone who took a chance on a small business run by a lady making cakes in her pyjamas.
