🚧 Community Project Update | Blackall 4 Mile Toilet Project 🚧
Exciting progress is underway at the Blackall 4 Mile Recreation Area!
Blackall-Tambo Regional Council has commenced construction of a new self-contained modular toilet facility, with contractors onsite over the weekend to install the concrete slab. The facility itself will be constructed in the coming weeks as the project continues to take shape.
This new amenity will improve accessibility and convenience for local residents, visitors, and members of the Blackall Fishing Club, making the popular recreation area more comfortable and welcoming for everyone.
The 4 Mile is a valued community asset, providing opportunities for fishing, social gatherings, outdoor recreation, and tourism. This investment will help support increased use of the site and enhance the overall visitor experience.

🚧 Modular facility construction commencing soon
As part of Council's ongoing commitment to improving recreational and tourism infrastructure across the region, consultation and planning are also underway for a similar amenities facility along the Tambo Coolibah Walk. This project is currently in the planning phase, with further updates to be shared as it progresses.
