BUSINESS UPDATE

In the pursuit of a work-life balance that is sustainable, I’ve decided it’s time to make a few changes…

🤍 Sunday Admin Days - from now on I will be doing all of my admin, including invoices and replies to enquiries on Sundays only. Some of you may have noticed that my website is finally ready and available to check out! This should assist with answering any questions you may have as you wait for my reply on Sundays!

🤍 Price Increase - in over 2 years I’ve not had a price increase but as you all know, the costs of everything have increased and I’ve had no choice but to put my prices up to cover the rising costs to the business.

Unfortunately these changes will likely result in me taking less of your bookings on as it will eliminate last minute bookings and also might mean that I will no longer fit your budget. Whilst this is a sad effect of these changes, it allows me to give all my remaining bookings the time and energy they deserve without burning myself out. It also means more time to spend with family and reconnect with friends who I have neglected over the last two years while I have been starting the business and lost my weekends, worked full time, finished studying my Masters and worked through far too many personal challenges for such a short time.

I appreciate everyone’s support as I ensure Gather Grace can continue the professional quality and service that I hope you’ve all come to expect ♥️

GATHER GRACE TURNED 2!! 🥳🎉

Can’t believe it has been two years already! Massive thanks to everyone that has supported this little adventure by booking with me, liking, sharing, referring and to my amazing supports, especially my best unpaid employee (Mum)! I feel proud of what I’ve been able to achieve over the last two years especially while finishing a Masters Degree and starting my career as a Social Worker. Looking forward to some amazing bookings coming up this year and all the platters in between! Also obsessed with this little cake from .peac.h 🥰

🍗 Creamy Sweet Chilli Chicken Schnitzel Pasta 🌶️

This one I fully made up on the spot and hoped for the best, being fully prepared for it to be awful and not include it, but… it is actually so delicious. It has penne pasta, chicken breast schnitzel, tomato, capsicum, cucumber, red onion and a creamy sweet chilli dressing with spring onions on top!

🥚 Chicken Caesar Salad 🥗

A classic for a reason! Thus Chicken Caesar has cos lettuce, grilled chicken, crispy bacon, sourdough croutons, eggs, parmesan cheese and a delicious Caesar dressing with spring onions on top!

Chorizo and Roast Veg Couscous Salad

Another new Gather Grace salad that became a new favourite of mine when I made it for Christmas! This one includes fresh spinach, couscous, roasted beetroot, onion and capsicum, semidried tomatoes, pan fried chorizo, feta, balsamic glaze and a delicious balsamic dressing.

Spicy Chicken Salad 🌶️

This salad is not new to the Gather Grace salad options and has been a favourite!! It has mixed leaves, cabbage, capsicum, capsicum, cucumber, and chicken schnitzel, topped with mayo, spicy sauce, spring onions and sesame seeds!

🌮 Mexican Chicken Salad 🥗

This salad is so delicious, a favourite among my taste testers! It has lettuce, Mexican rice, Mexican chicken, charred corn, salsa, fresh capsicum, tomato and onion and toppped off with fresh lime, corn chips, avocado and a homemade chipotle sauce. So healthy and nutritious!!

Today, with the help of some incredibly generous friends and family, 134 lunch packs were distributed to Bendigo Firefighters who were out fighting fires today, and to the residents of Harcourt. A $100 Woolies voucher, a generous donation of food from and a couple of donations from individuals, meant that we were able to double the amount of packs we had initially planned to make!

After delivering the packs to and the Indian Association of Bendigo, I headed to Castlemaine with Lifeline Loddon Mallee to be present at the Community Hub for anyone who needed a listening ear. The drive to Castlemaine was confronting, seeing the effects of the fire along the Calder Highway for the first time. I have had such positive experiences with the Harcourt community since starting Gather Grace, with multiple functions at both the and and will continue to do what I can to support the relief and recovery for the people of Harcourt and surrounds.

Thank you again to those who contributed, so that we were able to share so many healthy and delicious meals with some extremely deserving firefighters and residents! ♥️
