The brief was “I’m pregnant, and it’s twins! I want a creative way to announce it to my family”.

Being given full creative control is my favourite type of cake order! Getting to see the pregnancy announcement video after was the highlight 🥰

This was probably one of my favourite cakes to make! Maybe because I had full creative freedom 🤷🏻‍♀️

The brief was simply “a cake for a first birthday, inspired by The Happy Song by Imogen Heap, do whatever you want!”

So we got to work, from first needed to do some research because I’d never heard of this song, to digitally editing scenes from the music video together to make a design for the cake wrap and then getting that printed, as well as creating a digital design for the Happy Birthday message on the top of the cake, going over to mum’s house to use her Cricut and cut it to create a stencil, and then finally putting it all together! This cake really got me trying out some new techniques I’d never thought I’d incorporate into a cake! 💙💙
