Wednesdays are Helpful Hearts Pantry day, so we would like to acknowledge some of the Helpful Hearts Pantry volunteers.

Keith has worked in the Helpful Hearts Pantry for 4 years, because he likes to help people in need and supporting them.

He likes to volunteer at Better Together and the Helpful Hearts Pantry so he can work together to better the community. Keith has also volunteered overseas for 38 years.

The Community Pantry is such a great program that helps many families in Atherton. We deeply appreciate the Pantry volunteers that give their time.

Another Helpful Hearts Pantry Volunteer is Trevor Murchinson. Trevor has volunteered for the pantry for the last 4 years and enjoys volunteering as it is a way of helping people who are in great need, especially with the current cost of living pressures.

Trevor volunteers for Better Together as a way to helping the Tablelands Community and believes that the 2024 theme "Something for Everyone" means that volunteers across Australia should be recognised for the voluntary work that they do.

We appreciate you Trevor and all the work you do.

We are continuing our appreciation of our volunteers till the end of National Volunteer Week. Esme is our next volunteer who helps in the Helpful Hearts Pantry and has been with the pantry for 6 months.

Esme thinks volunteering is fantastic and as loves helping people and loves volunteering for Better Together because everyone helps and stays together.
