Happy Earth Day, friends! It’s a weird time in the world right now but all those images of unpolluted waterways and wild animals running around deserted streets is kinda awesome. Didn’t take much time for nature to start recovering in the absence of people, and while this is certainly encouraging, I got a little anxiety thinking of all the plastic hand sanitizer bottles, rubber gloves and other pieces of single use disposables making their way to a landfill.
It might require a little more effort these days, but try to think of how you can stay eco positive and encourage climate justice. At Blue With Envy, our packaging is 100% plastic free and we’re pretty damn proud of that. It’s not easy finding suppliers who produce custom eco friendly packaging in small batches and it’s certainly not the cheapest option, but we’re glad to do our part at reducing the landfill and keeping our oceans clean. Our home away from home, Dubai, is our final day of My favorite version of the city might not be the extravagance or extreme modernism, but instead quiet solitude of a day on the water, a sunrise over the city or vast nothingness of the desert. Thanks for tuning in, we hope we’ve given you a few extra ideas to ponder for your next travel adventure and remember to support the folks who make these experiences possible. They could use a lot of love when this mess is finally cleared up.
